Announcing: The Paint USA Contest!

Rules and Regulation:
  1. Submission Deadline: 30 / 04 / 2012
  2. This competition is open to all Malaysian high school students aged 16 – 18 years old. Anyone outside the stated category is not eligible to participate in this competition. 
  3. To enter this competition, visit http://adptaylors.blogspot.com to fill in the registration form. Once submitted, the assigned state will be emailed to each team.   
  4. Please follow the following steps:
    • Step 1. Form a group of 3
    • Step 2. Go to adptaylors.blogspot.com to submit participation form. 
    • Step 3. Received assigned US State
    • Step 4. Select a university from the assigned state.
    • Step 5. Design the poster that promotes the university
    • Step 6. Mail the poster to
                   Taylor’s American Degree Transfer Program
                   No.1 Jalan Taylor’s, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor
  5. Each team must consist of maximum 3 members from the same school.
  6. Poster Design submission terms:
    • The design submitted must be an original work by the team. Any infringement of any third party’s work will result in an automatic disqualification of the team.
    • Content of the design must include:
      • An illustration of a higher education institution of the respective state with the state map included. 
      • Any other information that would be relevant to promote the higher education institution. 
      • Each short description should not be more than 60 words (define word limit) of each illustration.
  7. Posters will be judged by the following criteria:
    • Content: 40%, Visual: 40%, Creativity: 20%
  8. No printing is allowed on the design. Students may use methods such as drawing, painting, montage etc. Any printing methods on the poster design is prohibited. 
  9. Prizes:
    • 1st Place  : RM1,500 + RM15,000 worth of scholarship
    • 2nd Place  : RM1,200 + RM12,000 worth of scholarship 
    • 3rd Place  : RM900 + RM9,000 worth of scholarship
      Terms and condition apply.
  10. By participating in this competition, teams must agree that:
    • The decision made by the panel is final.
    • The organizers have the right to use all the design submitted in any form or medium.
  11. The organizer hereby disclaims any and all liabilities that may arise before, during and after the competition period. 
  12. Winners of the contest will be announced via the ADP blog on the 21st May 2012. Taylor’s ADP will also contact the winners via email.

Are you into the LIN-SANITY?

It's been hyped up all over the news, CNN Sports, ESPN News, BCC Sports, you name it, it's there. Jeremy Lin is the new NBA sensation! In just 16 games with a total of 317 minutes on court, the number 17 rookie has scored a total of 203 points (that's average of 1.5 points every minute!) to help his New York side win 7 games in a roll.

Pretty impressive for a rookie don't you think? Since everyone is talking about it, here are some interesting information that you might want to know about the new NBA sensation.

Jeremy Lin graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics, which makes him only the 42nd Ivy league graduated player in the NBA history. As for now, J.Lin will be having the spotlight in the NBA arena especially with the 3 points game winner against the Raptors. 


We will be expecting to see more of Linsanity in the next coming months especially the much anticipated game when the Knicks host Miami Heats on February 23rd.
